Chicken Lollipop is a crispy and juicy Indo-Chinese recipe where chicken wings are coated with batter of egg, garlic and ginger paste. It is called lollipop because The meat is cut loose from the bone end and pushed down creating a lollipop appearance.

Ingredients


Chicken Lollipops- 6 pcs
Oil- as required
For Marination
Egg (slightly beaten)- 1
Red Chilli Paste – 1 tblspn
Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
Soya Sauce – 1 tblspn
White Vinegar – 1 tblspn
Tomato ketchup – 3 tblspn
Corn flour-1 cup
Garlic Paste- 1 tsp
Ginger Paste-1 tsp
Salt-1 tsp
Oil- as required

Preparation

Make batter with all the ingredients as stated in “For Marination” in a bowl. Add 1 tsp salt and water. Add Chicken wings to it and mix well so that the chicken pieces are ‘coated’ with the batter. Leave the bowl for about an hour.
Heat the oil and deep-fry the chicken wings first over high heat and sim the flame latter till wings are almost cooked through.
Keep all the Lollipops on absorbent paper.
Heat the oil again just before serving and fry the wings in hot oil till they become brown.
Place it on absorbent paper so that excess oil are soaked and serve.

Serving


Serve hot Chicken lollipops with Szechuan sauce.
